I want to breed but can't, interested?

This is some neck feathers on my rooster. Is this what you are talking about?

Just these feathers. His comb is all black. I was thinking he was possibly mixed. But if this is something that happens with this breed, then it's ok.
For now I plan to bring him a Buff Orpington hen to mate with. This way I can get some chicks out of him. I guess for now he will have to be a house bird.

I thought they were supposed to be totally black, no other feather color.
Have read about white popping up in them, in toes and feathers.

Why breed to a BO...just for more layers?
You don't have AC females?

Yes, all solid black is a perfect Cemani. However, mulberry and copper leakage sometimes occurs regardless. It’s very rare with mine because I never breed the gents who have it. I’ve never seen it in a female. Even the silverish feathers are called copper leakage, I have no idea why lol. I did have a cockeral that was just gorgeous with the leakage and intended to keep him as a pet, sadly he gave his life for the flock fighting off a raccoon while the others made it to the coop.

I do have two Ayam Cermani females. I originally had Buff Orpingtons but lost a lot last year. I have a few BO hens who are currently laying eggs.
Out of the hens I have left, I have four Buff Orpington, 4 Lavender Orpingtion, 2 pure bree Ayam Cermani, and 2 Ayam Cermani crosses. Of the cross AC hens, one is a rose comb, and her comb and waddles are completely red. The other is all black with some stubbles on the legs. I've seen this stubble in a breed called Americana. So I'm guessing that is what she is.
As for breeding, I know I'm only going to get pure breed out of the two AC hens, but the rest would just have to be for layers and meat.
