I have an old portable exercise pen from my dog showing days.It's made of 2'X40" wire panels, 1 1/2 X4" mesh welded wire, very light weight and easy to handle. panels were clipped together with metal rings that allowed to to be folded for transport and storage, with one side open to be closed with snaps. Taking some of the panels apart from each other, part of it can be set up with some of the panels placed on top, all fastened together with snaps. Or the whole pen can be set up, its 4ft X 8 ft if placed in a rectangle, or can be arranges round or square, and something like a light tarp or even big old bed sheet placed over the top and secuded with clothespins. I'm going to use it in my veggie garden this spring, to let my one "chicken little" banty use as a portable play and scrach yard, and I can move it around and adjust its shape to place between rows or over unplanted bads, so she can eat the weeds and bugs. I also have a smaller 2' high puppy exercise pen, a sheet clipped over it would work, too.
