I HATE MY INCUBATOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grrrrr. I have not had a single decent hatch in this thing! It is doing nothing but killing chicks and taking up room.

I keep having chicks hatch try to hatch early, can't keep my hum right, have to watch it constantly for temp fluc., etc.
I just lost an entire dozen Guinea Eggs. Most of which pipped and tried to hatch on day 22 but had none of their yolks absorbed and then got shrink wrapped in their eggs, despite my putting wet sponges, filling the reseviors with water, etc.

I needed those guinea keets. I hand turned those eggs. I was depending on getting at least a couple of them to eat my ticks.

I need a new incubator but I have no idea which one to buy. It will probably be a one time purchase so I don't know whether I should buy a NICE tabletop model or a cabinet type (I would love a Dickey).
I want something that I have to do the least amount of work with.

I'm just so bummed out

I'm guessing a Dickey or a Sportsman with auto turners. Those would be ONE TIME purchases!

How much you want it for? I will sell it as soon as I get these darn chicks out of it.

$20 plus shipping? I would imagine if you have a stable house that isn't drafty it would be fine. My house is nearly 300 years old and no where is stable.

uh ohhhhh.....

i have a Dickey, an LG with a fan and a Genesis. I love them all.

GET THE DICKEY. but save the LG to hatch in.

Can you not hatch in the Dickey?

you can hatch in it, but i like to hatch in a table top too just in case i need to get in and out of there. just as a back up too.

i do a lot of hatching. my poor husband. poor, poor Rick.

I had 8 LG and Hovabators set up in my garage on the work bench all summer last year.. hatched quail, chickens guineas geese and turkeys.. I do not think your house is more drafty than my garage/work shop with no doors...

I shipped a couple of them.. it costs almost $35.oo .. no thanks..

Kill it!! Kill it!! Set it on fire!! I never could get mine to work either. I made TSC take it back. Temp wouldn't stay steady for anything in mine. Loads of shrink wrapped chicks, despite humidities in the 60-70's....

Blow it up! Drag it behind the car! Shoot it!
