Welcome to the world of hate them or love them. I actually had decent hatches in mine - still gave it away - hated the design.

Love my mini-fridge and wine cooler homemade bators and if I was going to buy commercial - A DICKEY

But ummmm this weekend I found an antique cabinet bator, solid redwood, for 75.00. It needs a new thermostat, which Laura just ordered for me. 75 + 30 = 115 for a working cabinet bator that holds 576 eggs

Bwaahahahahahahahahhahhhaaaa I had a good weekend. I don't think I am gonna need that Dickey.

How did I know you had an LG??? Cause everyone who rants on here about bad hatches is usually complaining about the LG - especially the still air. I had one - hate it!!! Won't use it ever again not even for hatching. I lost 12 polish a month ago cause the stupid thing wouldn't stay consistent!!!!

I bought a 1588 and it's perfect. I am going to get another one in the spring. No worries, set it and forget it like that ronco rotisserie!

I guess they are either really good or really bad. I love mine and wouldn't give it up for anything.
