I want to knit but..

I love knitting Icelandic sweaters, from the bottom up, using the Lopi yarn or spinning my own. Heck, the sweaters can be made w/worsted store bought wash and wear yarn, too, like Lion Brand. One of my younger sisters is allergic to wool so I made one out of Lion Brand for her years ago. They use three colors of yarn for the entire sweater pattern, large diameter yarn, large kneedles and no sewing seams, when you're done, you're done:)

I'll post a pic of one later today, I'm at work now...

Sounds Excellent,

Would love to see this

I knit Arran Sweaters, have done nothing for years due to work schedule, but I am starting again now I am at home all the time.

I have found that with projects that take a longer time I am more likely to get bored or frustrated and put them down. I am a sock-a-holic so I hope to learn to knit socks this winter. I made a pair of tube socks for my son, but I want to learn to do "real" socks with heels. I've done a few pairs of mittens too.

Mittens are good.

I used to really enjoy them and have been thinking to use up some spare wool I have here on Mittens. I have knitted 2 children's jumpers and a hat, and almost finished 2 more cardigans, so I am not getting bored at the moment...lol.
