Thanks Littledear, that was some good info. I plan to hatch the eggs, as I think bonding from hatch is the best method. Not that they won't still get attitudes at times I'm sure.

I don't know where you are at for sure but my sis lives in N. Mo. and my mom is just east of DesMoines Ia. I wish I could say I was driving up that way soon I would just bring a few eggs with me for you since my daughter objects to eating them lol. You are welcome to the advice and I agree that bonding with them is important. They all have their own personalities and are very interesting.

My Pilgrim geese are very sweet and they are not able to fly over even a 3' fence. they got along fine with the ducks even during the mating season and mine have never been aggressive toward people. They are not the noisiest breed, but they are still noisy.
