I want to plant something pretty by the chicken house and have about 6 feet long area by 3 feet wide that is semi shady but does get some direct overhead sun during the mid part of the day. I have been reading about the health benefits of gogi plants (wolfberries) and of course it is the same berry as the pricy gogi juice that is so popular today. But what you may not know is that the leaves are also very healthful when used as a vegetable.
I was thinking of growing them for myself, hoping to pick some berries some day, but also that I could "prune" the plants now and then and toss the trimmings into the pen as a treat.
Does anyone grow these?
