Wouldn't it be great if we could all have what we really want? I want that for all of us!!!!!

Home made peanutbutter cake with peanutbutter icing. But I'm too tired from painting the basement all day to make it. And that's the only way I'm going to get that cake!

I also want to finish this basement paint job. The walls of this basement was the sort of green you find on one of the "nauseated" smilies. The door frames and window trim is military grey.

And we spend a lot of time down here as it is where all the electronic stuff like computers and console games are.

We finally bought a pale, pale yellow paint with gleaming white paint for the trim. Looks gorgeous, What a difference! But the work! All that stuff down here needing moved from one side to the other, and all this stuff I now feel obligated to either unpack after two years of moving it in, or get rid of completely.

Sigh.

It isn't as good as peanutbutter cake, though.

I want a day off from my kids...no whining, crying, diapers, breastfeeding, lying, cleaning....no house work of any kind, no laundry or dishes....no carpool, no baseball games, no homework or papers to sign, no making dinner, lunches, or breakfast....
I want a mani/pedi, massage, haircut and shopping spree free in a shirt that doesnt have spit-up on it................
