Thats right.. theres something that i want you to remember..
You will only have this ONE life.. thats it...
Please dont be like so many women and settle..
Trust me... i am married and my husband loves me very much and he respects me.. he respects my opinion.. he respects my wants...
He would never even think of telling me no if i truly wanted something... (thats just SO hurtful and just wrong to do to someone....)
I'm not a child.. this is MY life... and i intend to be happy in it... and he knows he can either come along for the ride... or get off.

i live by this quote by Jeffree Star
"DO WHATEVER THE *french* you want because you only live once and if I die tomorrow, I wanna die HAPPY. I don't wanna WISH I did something... I DO it every day. I'm ME and no one is gonna tell me I shouldn't do this or that.. & this goes for everyone. It doesn't matter if you're family or friends dont truely understand you. YOU have to be happy. Because who else matters in the end?"
i <3 that quote

Thats right.. good quote.

I see soooo many women on here lay down and be door mats for their men.... "waah.. my DH wont LET met get chicks...
Waaah.. my DH says i HAVE to get rid of my flock..." etc..etc...
Give me a break... it truly makes me sick to me stomach to read those posts...
As she said... Men dont run the relationship.... noone RUNS it... but my husband had never better even try to tell me what i can and cant do... If i want chicks and I'M going to take care of them... its MY choice... period.
and i hope she DOES remember this all her life.
Also... i'm married.. 7 years now... and it works just fine for us...

Differnet strokes for different folks, i guess...

But what if the DH askes permission on things as well? I always wonder if the women are really controlled or just have a mutual agreement with their husbands on what the other can/can't have. Like say, your husband wanted a pet lion, motorcycle (really from your posts Redhen I kind of think YOU would be the one who would want the motorcycles
tongue.png
) would you deny him that? Or would it fall under the same principle, he wants it and is going to take care of it - so he doesn't need your permission? Not trying to start a argument, just fishing I guess

ETA: Plus you have to think about if they can afford it, maybe the DH (or in some cases DW) are the money handlers and the other spouse has to ask for them due to money issues. DW/DH says no (can't afford them), but they go behind them and get them anyway?

It is equal but all in good time, Old man gets what he wants and this old lady gets what she wants in due time .......patience is the key

I agree, but geez I didnt know this would get that deep ........I didn't mean to offend any men on here :X

I understand my husbands thoughts, he wants me to ease into the farming he wants me to learn first and not get my self in a situation where I am in over my head.

In this day and age women are more assertive, and I too think that is a most awesome way to be.

We give and take equally, he has his trucks and I have my chicks

By the way congrats on the 7 years

I have been with my old man now 19 years but it dont feel that long.

It does go by quickly! And honestly, good luck in everything...

ik! hes the reason i now love Naked Necks...LOL
the only problem with us is he lives so far away,
hmm.png
BUT theres ways of change'in that
with my love life, i go by: if you love them enough, go for it. if its ment to be, then you'll be together.no matter the distance.
i could have my pick of really great guys here that would do anything to be with me...but i really have a thing for Justin..and..idk why

My husband is from Mexico he was raised around chickens all his life, he thinks I fuss to much over these cuties but I have been such a huge animal lover all my life.
Like on here some look at these as pets and some look at them as a food source, he thinks of them as just food source only and not to be held or pet.
For me they are kind of both and give me something to get me up and out of the house each day instead of being a hermit and never venturing out doors.
It can get boring in the country with nothing to do........my kids are big now so this is like my next project and I am loving it.

Daniel, only today I didn't get them there is always tomorrow and next weekend

and besides I never act like a brat but today I just felt like being one but I didnt do it , only inside the child was screaming out GIVE ME GIVE ME GIVE ME NOW NOW NOW!
LMBO

I thought to my self if he actually heard what I really thought he would probably have a panic attack right there in the center of all those farm animals.
My old man is a soft spoken man rarely tells me no......eventually I get my way.
