I was a bad chicken mommy today/Baby chick injury.

The eye is still closed and looks a bit swollen but no bleeding. If the eye survives good and if not then so be it. Regardless of the sex of this chicken I will keep it and take care of it. I was worried about the eating and drinking but feel much better today seeing him/her doing both. Also had several bowel movements with no blood so I took that as a good sign too. Go Doody!
