I empathise with all of you who have husbands that are away and you want to be with them. My husband is working out of town for 3 months!

It is hard on both of us since we are best friends and really enjoy being with each other. I don't complain and keep a chin up since it makes him feel worst about being gone. I think that it is WONDERFUL not selfish at all that we want to be with them. There are probably plenty of women out wishing their husbands won't come home and can't understand why we want ours around.

Man, my husband works swing shift, 2 weeks on nights and two weeks on days. His hours are 6:30 to 6:30 so with his commute he is either asleep or gone ALL the dang time.
