For a couple weeks my only hatched chick was a pullet right?! Easter egger, friendly, cute... gonna give me eggs.... 10 weeks old, nah she isn't standing up straighter...
few days later, no her legs aren't getting thicker than the hens.
That red on the shoulders will fade,
she walks like her father ee bc she just does, maybe other hens walk like their bio dad I wouldn't know
no those back feathers aren't as round bc she is still only 11 weeks they'll get thicker with age .....
ok, I know I studied those saddle feathers a dozen times and I finally told myself those are boy saddle feathers and he's got the base tail just like his bio dad yup he is a boy
So at 12 weeks I admitted I got a roo, I have 4 crowers now he crowed a couple days ago
He's a red Easter egger responds to "babies" bc he's a big baby begging treats even to his bio dad still
Name is Robito
Any others ever sat in denial that long? Lol
