LOL! I have both. If you want eggs when it's time, let me know and I'll put you on a list. I have a few people waiting right now. I hope to get started myself in March or April selling eggs and chicks. Just depends on the girls!

Yes I do! My DGD and I were just talking on the way home about Partridge Cochins....do you have LF in them? That is what we would like to have.

I have Sweet Harry the Barred Cochin we got by accident that I built the Cochin Corner for....then he was sad all alone so I searched all over and finally found 'four hens' two of which turned out to be roosters. Found the roosters a good home and now have Harry and big momma and little momma and they are black cochins. We LOVE our cochins but will need to add to them in the spring. AND they will eventually be in the largest coop and run.

But for sure six partridge cochin eggs. Let me go back and look and I will PM you.....

Congratulations!!! I am soooooo jealous I love my Cochins. Right now I only have one hen and rooster. But, the man I get mine from has me on a list. I am just a "junkie". He called today to tell me he has Silkies and I reserved one rooster and 3 hens. My flock has gone from one rooster to 23 hens and 6 rooster. Now, I am trying to hatch some more. My husband fusses, but like I told him, I could be addicted to worse things

That is basically what I have told mine.....that it is either the chickens or diamonds.....I have the chickens and like them better!

He did tell me tonight that if I did not start going in the Barred Rock pen....with the devil BR roo....to check eggs that he was going to get rid of the chickens! So, tomorrow I am going in! I have a big, heavy laundry basket. I am going to plop it right on top of the stupid rooster and let him spend the day there. I am really tired of him going after me and it is time to stop him or cook him! He is the only rooster I have problems with and it started just a few weeks ago....started with my DGD and progressed to me. Not my DH.

My cochin rooster on the other hand.....really sweet. So is my BO roo.

Looking forward to hatching eggs when this job is over.....gotta go get myself educated!
