I was just given this young Roo, can anyone identify?

I think he is pretty young, he had a lot of feathers still coming in on his neck, and maybe bantam sized. He has a beard, and some feathers trying to poke out on his legs, but doesn't look like there will be a lot of leg feathering. The guy across the street saw we had chickens and this guy has been at his house for three weeks crowing. He told my kids if they catch him they can have him (what farm kid won't take THAT challenge?) So here he is, any thoughts?

looks like an EE to me....def a mix of some kind. What kind of chickens does the guy you got him from have?
 
It could be any number of mixes.
Someone proubly got the Bantam Assortment from a hatchery and this is the results.
One parent was booted and one was clean legged.
How many toes doe it have and what is its skin color?
 
Anyone think this could be favorelles or a cross of that? I was studying photos of breeds! Skin color just seems gray. And as far as toes, he seems to have the standard three forward, one back.
