I'm in bed 6-7 hours a night, can drop right off. Have been woken up lots during the night for over a decade from gasping, nightmares, etc. A few months ago got diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea; have a cpap machine that I was just finally getting used to before the rounds of illnesses hit - sneezing and runny nose don't mix well with face mask. When it works, sleep HARD with NO dreams.
I can only imagine what a good night's sleep is like. First it was the little kids - the great sleep deprivation experiment..
Dawn, take your sleep when you can! Nobody remembers much how messy our house was, but how crabby I could get (just don't let relatives videotape a house tour for MIL)
