I was told 80% for bobwhite quail eggs????????

Thanks I have never hatched quail before. I am a little worried, I paid $30.00 for 120 eggs. That's a lot of money to me, I ate 2 of the 120 eggs, and considered that to be the most expensive eggs i have ever eaten, I paid 25 cent an egg.

That humidity does seem way too high. This one is just about incubating bobwhites: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=5292432

I've
never done quail, but I'm dying to try hatching out some buttons

Yeah in my Rcom incubator it is 50% when I incubate chicken eggs, and have only gotten 2 out of 6 eggs, 1 the first hatch, 2 were infertile, and 1 the second hatch 1 was infertile, and 1 was a quitter. I think it was the humidity for the quitter, i usually dont get too many of those quitters. Like I said I do about 20-30% for chickens, and get GREAT results. But I think I will try to do 50% the first 20 days and 80% the last 3.
