I was wondering about Popcorn...

We pop popcorn all the time for our ladies. They love it. The thing is they only get natural popcorn popped in an air popper never the microwave stuff (avoiding butter and salt). We thought about it and decided that there's corn in the scratch grains and that's all popcorn is. It's just turned inside out.

Did you know that you can pop your own microwave popcorn?!!! Just stick some in a paper lunch bag, tape it closed and press start.

No butter, no oil, no nothin', just plain ole popcorn!
(It does burn easier though, but the chickens won't mind!)

Our chickens love it too. We pop our popcorn in an microwave popper. You can make it with or without butter and salt.

as sooon as i step out of my front door i got all the hens just waiting for the popcorn and they follow me until i give them some they just love it

we bought a bag of kernels from the store and pop it in a dry fry pan with a lid.. no salt, oil,, just hot bare pan and kernels.. does great and they love it
