They make this very odd noise for chickens - they sayyy baaaaaa baaaaaaaaaa.

Oddly, they also poop differently and eat kudzu, I think I'm in heaven. So here's my first intro to owning goats -omg. They're Dante the tan/white and the tri/white is Milton. They're adorable. I'm working on a large house for them but they have a small house now. They're not very big... Tomorrow is TSC and goat feed minerals and baking soda, a feeder and a couple of lead ropes.

Though at this point you just bend over and pick em up.

I'm jealous, I really, really, really want goats! *sigh*

OMG we have both lost it. Looking at these two and the three acres that needs goats and going hmmm... gonna need more goats.

They are the sweetest pair of boys. Been wanting some for awhile - saw that ad and called her awful fast... Now if I can just find some Nubians and Nubian/Boers.

First congrads on the additions. I just love my little goats. What did you mean by getting baking soda? What for?

Most goat sites recommend offering free fed goat minerals and baking soda. A goat with an upset gut will actually self treat with baking soda if it's available.

Neat huh?

Pygmys? I couldn't tell if they were some sort of a Sanaan/pygmy cross or just pygmys? The faces look more pygmy than anything.
I love those spots. So unusual and beautiful. It's a shame they weren't doelings. Cute though.
