Well I would have been happy with 20 bucks!!! EVERYONE could use 100 bucks in gas!!! Any "free" money is more than what I had before!!!

I read about a scam that works like this.

A stranger calls to say your name was called on the radio, asks if you have the station # then gives you a phone # that goes to their partner in crime, who answers the phone exactly like the radio station does, and proceeds to get needed personal information for them to process and mail your "prize". Most radio stations require you to pick up a prize in person, the scammers buy themself a little time by saying it will be mailed to the winner.

Is was a scam to collet personal info, and several people have had their ID stolen this way.

Please tell me that you didn't give them your personal info, and that you've verified the stations phone # against the one they gave you.

Yeah, I had to go to the lottery/radio station WDSD and fill out a W9 form and stuff....

Not sure what you have to do for a gift card prize..
