Ukrainians, mostly, but Uzbeks and Azerbaijanians, as well. Very hard working and intelligent people. Like the Mexicans I've worked with. Awesome work ethic.

Their music however....

Remember "Zamfir! Master of the Pan Flute"? There's a LOT of that music, while I work. Accordion as well. Then at one point, the latest CD was clearly dinner/date music. Awkward!

Gah, all day, with the pan flute/accordion music. At one point it was clearly Christmas music, for the accordion (in July). It could be worse. Once, at my first Bloomsday (12K road race), an old Elvis impersonator was playing "It's a Small World" on the accordion, at mile 1. It got stuck in my head, for the rest of the race!

By about noon, I was hoping for a workplace injury, so I could go home. Stupid safety equipment pretty much rules out injury. It was like being trapped in an elevator, with two guys and listening to Cool Jazz, romantic dinner music, followed by the "All Pan Flute, All the Time" radio station.

Oh yes, I can picture your feet moving to "It's a small world." Scientifically proven to cause the initiation of CRSD.

Who's the boss? See if you can change it on certain days to something else. Or turn it off on certain days. See your family physician and get an excuse that you break out in fits when you hear russian music, so they have to play something else.

Just take a Ozzy cd and blair that on the overhead speakers for them. They should love it! Lol!

My family is very Polish-American, although there are a few Ukes and Cyganies (Ukrainians and Gypsies) in the family tree. I grew up on polka music.

When I lived with my grandfather, the next-door neighbors were having a large bonfire party blaring rock music 'til all hours of the night. Grandpa finally got fed up with it, went out to the garage and turned up his radio as loud as it would go, drowing out the rock music with "She's Too Fat For Me" and "Who Stole the Kiszka?"

DH used to play in a polka band (much to the chagrin of his German ancestors) and said that the accordian is the hardest instrument to play.

His ancestors (incl. his father) didn't like anything Polish or Catholic. He was in a good Bay City Polish Polka band. Love that town, btw! Poles, Irish, Mexicans, Italians and Germans! Everyday's a party!
