We are in western Washington and the smoke from all the wildfires are affecting us, to the point where the sky is yellow right now, what can I do, I saw on a thread that speckled Sussex aren't very hardy, but will the smoke affect all of our flock.

That's a good question. It probably depends on the smoke content of irritants and toxins. Can you keep them inside the coop to limit their exposure to ash and dust?

Do you have a basement? I would bring them in the house for now.... somehow.
