i would like some advice

i am planning on hatching some chicks. all my eggs are fertilized and i don't feel like buying a incubator. can i make my own? can i put one hen in a box and just let her hatch them? can i make my own working incubator? what is the best method? thank you.

You can certainly try making your own incubator, but be ready for a steep learning curve - a well-made on is neither cheap or easy to make. As to the hens, if you have one go broody you can hatch under her, but you can't just pen a hen up with eggs unless she is already broody - and there is no way to make a hen go broody.
