Are sex links actually there name because i have never heard of them before in nz do they have any other names?

They are also referred to as Golden Comets. Your 4 chickens near the bottom of your picture look very much like Golden Comets. My picture is a little dark. They are actually a little lighter than in the picture.

I did some research and apparently brown shavers are golden comets so i have 6 golden comets. It sounds a bit better than brown shavers Which is a bit boring they are also NZ main supplier of eggs.

They are great layers. I usually get 6 eggs a day from my girls. Once in a while one won't lay.
