Will do my best Trish. If we begin to run short would you mind being a pr. short as in 8 rather than ten? There is another BYCer who has fallen in love with her little giant Blues.... She will remain nameless. But she lives in Des Moines near the airport and has puppies, and I got a chicken named Chubby Bubby from her once. But I will not tell you who she is!

Thanks - it's been kind of a crappy week chicken wise. All young birds are now back in the basement and will be making a BIG brooder this weekend.. (the husband doesn't know this yet shhhhhh)

Did I tell you the two smaller blues came running to me when I got home and tucked themselves inside my coat when I picked them up - apparently they make me for a sucker!

Big Roo (KYCKLING= swedish for CHICKEN) was of course supervising P. and her three remaining chicks on the wrong side of the fence.

Your the big mamma now! You know they are gonna be sleeping with you before long............ Do you want me to bring some chicken milk for their warm milk and cookies at bedtime?

So far I have been able to home: Moderns, Lav. Americana cockerel, Buttercup chicks, Serama chicks, all Seramas, all the crows, and maybe the Buckeye cockerel. Now I need a committment on the odd chicks........ they are cuties..... they have been telling me they would love to live by an airport? Isn't that strange?

Nope they told me it is toooo loud here.

I did pick up some decent looking white silkie chicks today. The lady told me she thought they were both roos but one might be a pullet. I think I likely have a pair. They are built a bit different and one is a little bigger and more solid than the other. They are about 11-12 weeks old.

I told the lady I got them from she should look at BYC.

Eric,

You sound like you're getting out of birds all together...
