Ah, figure it's ok. I'm a native Iowan, just displaced by my job.

Looking forward to taking up the Iowa Blue Project this year.

EEEEEKKKK! I have pips and peeps in the bator!!!! How am I supposed to do any work when I have babies on the way?! I saw at least 12 pips including 2 CrystalCreek Lavender AMs an 2 IA Blues.
 
intro; Okay , I'm going to try this, forgive me if it doesn't come out quite right,{hard to teach an old dog new tricks}!!! My name is Art, I'm located in sw iowa, Audubon, {home of Albert the bull}, anyway, I already am overrun with not just chickens,but have some guineas that could use a new home if anyone is interested, and also muscovy ducks, and geese incase anybody is interested!!!!

Just put Serama eggs plus some banties in the incubator And have Silkies coming, working on getting a building finished to use for brooding and then hopefully silkie barn, and on to another building for brooder , or feed shed !! I'll hopefully get some pictures posted if I can get my daughter stopped long enough to show me how to doit, hope to get to know the rest of you guys , eventually,

Hi Art welcome. I'm in the middle of ia by Ames. But once for a few yrs I lived in Audubon. My ex's family is from there so got transplanted. Great little town though miss parts of it.
You know everything you listed is good eaten and kimbalton is right there.

Hi Art! I'm from Middle IA near Belle Plaine. I'm tempted onthe geese, but my hubby is having enough trouble getting along with our tom turkeys!

Kari, you still boiling water? I knew my water broke... just looked through the top and there is a little Key West pecker (you know what I mean) poking out at me. Not very chatty yet but I knew I heard some chomping going on in there! he's got a good sized pip but can't tell any colors yet. It looked like some of the other eggs had moved a bit too.
