Well he doesn't look tiny anyway...

I'll have to get a better picture of him today while the sun is out and put him on the scale. He's always underfoot so he shouldn't be too hard to catch

If he turns up missing, don't check out my coop. Check out Stephanie's coop. If he isn't there, I don't know where he may have went.

He looks pretty nice to me. If I ever get an SOP I would be able to help you more.

Eric,
I ended up getting all five in Ia City. The original pair had the cockerel out of the white hen. The pullet took 4th. I also got the 2nd place pullet. Then he had a pair in the truck that he showed at Lincoln. The pullet is a sister to the cockerel in the show and the cockerel is a brother to the other two pullets. I decided for now to keep the two lines separate.

&#%@ On day 21 one of my hatchers shot up to 110. Instead of chicks it looks like I'll have chicken nuggets.

Due to hatch were Iowa Blues (both mine and from Trish) and GLP from my pair. They were the first ones from my pair.

How long were they under the heat? Lets hope it wasn't very long and they might be okay. My son cranked up mine for a day and that did them in. He did the 110-112 factor.

You let me know when you can send some eggs.

They must have been too hot too long. I candled last night and all were dead.

Eric, I'm sending you a PM.

Looks like I'm having some fertility issues with my Iowa Blues

I think a couple of those hens were pretty tough on the rooster. With 10 in there, he probably didn't try very hard with the crabby girls
