one of the morphed hens is a really pretty d'uccle/easter egger cross so he stays, the other two are RIR/easter eggers and they need to go to freezer camp or elsewhere ASAP

ChickBond - Can't meet you guys this weekend, although would be fun to do for sure! If you find a home or freezer for your roo, go ahead, but I am interested - I just have to figure out when to get over that way. I might try to make it worth my while and find some BLRW pullets/chicks/eggs out your way to go with him before I make the committment. I do love that coloration! I was/am also planning to start with buckeyes, but haven't placed my order yet with Sandhill. My husband might kill me, #1. Also not crazy about needing to locate high protein feed or protein supplements for those guys. So just can't decide. I'm an Ohio native and that breed just really calls to me, esp since it's a critical/threatened breed and started by a woman!
