I have PBGVs ok Petit Basset Griffon Vendeens. Not showing this wknd just was going to go down and hang out for awhile. The way the weather is sounding may not happen, calling for freezing drizzle not a fan of driving on ice It is a conformation show

Hello from Knoxville. Checking in. Electric has "blinked" a few times today, but so far come back on. Sitting here in my cozy old farmhouse listening to the ice and limbs slide off the metal roof. Gotta love life in Iowa.

Good luck and warm wishes to those of you in ice-land! I was shocked we didn't lose power in the Quad Cities area. We lost it for 8 hrs at our house in the last big snow storm. 2-3 days - YUCK! Stay warm out there!!

May I have Chubby Bubby? Is she LF? That is a pretty bird and I like those! Just a side note: We lost power sometime in the night on Friday and two of my just hatched Buckeye bantams died. One I was able to bring back for a bit but h/she eventually died to.

Yes she is LF and yes you can have her if you want. She is VERY pretty I think. I just don't have room for her in my future plans. I do have three of her eggs in the bator right now though - want to see what we get when crossed with the black copper roo.

My sil called my wife the other day to say they had gotten there. Anna, my sil, said she woke up with "clown hair" the first morning! LOL They live in ME and have had cold and heavy snow like us. She'd forgotten what humidity was like. She reminded Lora, to bring conditioner. It was 81F that morning, my favorite temp.
I'm not sure how to smuggle a few of those gypsy chickens off the island, but I'll work on that for the week that we are there. Well, gotta start my day... think I need to plan on a haircut! I sure don't wanna get "clown hair".
