That's great @ChickensAndYoga
From my candling notes:
OEs- one blood ring, one?, one with veins.
EEs- one?, two with veins.
SBEL- one with veins, two clear.
AMF- two with veins.
GM-?
BM- dark shell, but looks like veins.
BCM- dark shell, but looks like veins.
Tally- 1 BR, 2 clear, 3?, 6 with veins, 2 possibly with veins
I will be ecstatic if I have 8 of 14 hatch!!!

Does it look like they're filling up the shell?
Hey all. On day 17 and 14. Touched light to everyone while turning this am. Out of 9, 8 look amazing. My one VERY porous egg has quit sometime in the past 24 hours. It was a 14 day egg so no eggtopsy. I generally don't unless it's past day 18. But, still have the 8. Im not officially "locking down" until I hear an internal pip or until the older groups day 19. But I am candling for the last time tomorrow and setting the older eggs in hatch position and will turn the younger eggs once a day til Friday. They incubated side laying but are tilted slightlyView attachment 1518672 since two days ago now in a sanitized plastic cut down carton. Only because I am not a fan of chick soccer lol

:yaThat is awesome! What shade of green did that little cutie hatch out if?

I feel like they seem small still. After losing the one farm mix egg Im hesitant to candle again except tomorrow I will check air cell dips to position accordingly. I'll snap a pic. But this was yesterday day 16. Thoughts?

For those who havent seen my other thread, I have some eggs that are Gold duckwing bantam ROOSTER x medium (on the smaller side) Leghorn hen. So, possible bantam size babies in standard size egg 20180828_061221.jpg

I think it looks really good for Day 16! I'm sure you can tell better in person. Are you planning to hatch them upright if you think they're too small at LD?

I am! Which will be my first carton hatch. I cut a clear plast carton down and it was soaked in bleach solution, air dried then washed in dawn then air dried again. I decided to go ahead and lock down in the sense that I am only going to roll the youngest eggs once a day til I hear an internal pip. They are 15 days today (circled on the right) and they are set closest to heat source. Other 4 are the day 18 eggs. I touch candled everyone and set the with dips up. But some air cells seem small to me. Or it's the size of the chick relative to the egg. Not sure. So they are upright but with a slant. The clear carton lets me see if anyone pips in the wrong spot. This is it y'all...
I've hatched so many time but this particular mix I am on the edge of my seat!
Also, not adding a wet sponge to my dish until I hear an internal. Want to give everyone plenty of grow room. I'm in Florida and humidity here is 90% daily.
Eggs on right are the younger (circled)
