My entire coop (10' by 16' walk in) cost about $1250 CDN for materials. I acknowledge that I live in an area that affords access to inexpensive wood (I used 1" by 6" rough cut pine in a board and batten style) so my cost is lower than many folks would have to pay.
My goal in building the way I did was to keep the cost as low as possible. I looked at your link and I would need to spend $150+. Using plywood will cost nothing as I have both it and BJ57 in hand.
