I'm sure Jake could take good pictures of nice looking birds, but no one could match the humorous captions The Sheriff, NotAFarm, and KathyinMO add to their wonderful photos.

19 hatched so far. Two I lost..real sticky and I am not sure why as I never opened the inci from lock down with humidity 64 to 70 percent. after the first 24 hours I put a warm moist towel over them to take out the first 19 and take out the two that died stuck. I have two pipped and one hatched in the inci since. tomorrow is actually day 21, so I hope I won't have more stick ones but I know it was a risk to take the first 19 out. They are all adorable with lots of different colors! The pictures are not very accurate with the red heat lamp , they are way more cute!

You're amassing a splendid collection! Beautiful birds and lots of variety. Glad to see my Heiðar and Síríus looking handsome as ever!

Kella has become quite fond of Dreki since she got over the initial shock of being moved into his pen and away from Audun. I only have five Ari daughters, after rehoming 6 with the Harvey/Carlson family last summer. Kella and Brella have very similiar coloring but Brella is my pullet that was injured when young. She still has a slight limp and, at times, will hold that leg up and it quivers. I could not in good conscience send her to Jim and Jackie. Brynhildur and Branda are similiar colored but Branda is not crested so Brynhildur is going. The fifth daughter is Kleo(patra)....she is broody and will be getting some of the eggs from Dreki's pen (if she stays broody after the changes today). I don't know how she'll react to the three being gone.
