Hey Red, maybe you can keep the snow up there for a while to keep my blood pressure down, it always seems to increase after the first snow and everyone in the city forgets how to drive

Elska! Audun! Eldy! (she blends nicely into the leaves) Barnevelder pullet, I like the Barnevelders.Cupcake thanks all of you for the compliments!! She is finishing her molt and I loved the way her feathers were all puffed out like a royal garment.
No snow here (Thankfully!!), but frozen water on Saturday morning that needed to be broken out. I'm glad you are enjoying the snow Red......I'll wait until after Thanksgiving for mine!![]()
I've been vacuuming and bagging leaves for the winter coop bedding.....no shortage of leaves here.....
Here is a pic of (l to r) Eldy, Barnevelder pullet, Elska and Audun with some of the aforementioned leaves....

Oh no, poor Gæla! A bit of extra protein should help with feather regrowth. My momma hen Goa is looking very raggedy too. I know her chick helps keep her warm but she needs to feather-out before too long.....next week the forecast has daytime highs around the freezing mark. Brrr...Mary while your collecting leaves for bedding I think I'm going to collect Gaela's feathers for pillows! Poor girl is molting pretty hard I hope she gets her feathers back before it gets any colder
How embarrassing for a Rooster to be henpecked? He probably molted out of shame
