And...a few chicks in AZ and VA from shipped eggs. One of my year old SLW girls was on the nest most of yesterday and still there last night at lights-out, so the 7 eggs I have now and any more I collect from Asta since Anna started brooding will be going under her if she's serious. I hope she is, that way, I'll actually have a brood that I know came just from the one hen and one roo. Those would make a great breeding group to separate from the others. How many would there be if I lived somewhere that didn't have winter for 6 months of the year?!?!

Not A, where are you located?

Here in northern MI we count 2 seasons, 4th of July and winter.

Thats one reason why I am looking for great things from the Icelandics, they should feel right at home here.
