Icelandic Chickens

Maybe this one will be a male version of Kola! I have never seen a picture of a black male Icelandic! The other three are totally white so far.

I dont think hatching one of Stella's eggs in with Icelandic eggs would be a very good idea...

This is hard for me to do because I have to swallow my pride to do it, but I am back. I was almost inconsolable last night because it felt as if I had not just given up talking to people about Icelandic chickens but I had abandoned real friends. I realized that I would miss this forum so much if I were to stay away for very long. Thanks to Kelly, Jake, and a whole lot of other nice people I am going to come back and try to cowgirl up when things get rough. To the people who were glad to see me go, sorry. Pretend there's an IGNORE button and use it when I post. I plan to use my imaginary IGNORE button as well. To the people who sent me PM's that they were withdrawing from the thread as well, please reconsider. We went a remarkably long time ( nearly 5,000 posts) without any issues.

So, that being said, back to business as usual. Kelly just left my house after picking up her Icelandic chickens. She was planning to take 3 but only took 2 after declaring most of the the others to be roosters. I guess I should be happy because she declared my freaks all to be girls, a Polish, olive egger, and frizzle cochin! My 3 Barred Rocks from Kathy have been designated a trio. So for a visit from Kelly, I came away relatively unscathed this time!

Mary

p.s. Good luck on the hatch Jake. I just had one lone Coronation Sussex egg that I got it from Cheryl hatch. As soon as this little one fluffs up enough to go in the brooder, the incubators are getting buried deep in the junk in the barn where I can't find them.

Mary,

I am glad you are back. Never wanted to see you or anyone else go. I hope that we can all move forward in peace, as you said back to business as usual.

Neat freak accountant or not ...... I am just sure you would never have noticed that Stella's egg is any different. Well, if you have on your bifocals, you might notice.
