Icelandic Chickens

I just checked my eggs again. I'm pretty sure that the three that were developing have what's called a blood ring. I've never hatched before, so I don't know for sure, but I think all of my eggs are done

I don't know what I did wrong! I thought for sure I was going to have some chicks from these guys. Icelandics are so hardy. It never even occurred to me that none of the eggs would make it. I feel so crappy right now.

Mahonri, I put the three Icelandic pullets back into their own pen tonight. Three weeks, here we go......
 
Ok Kelly, what is this one in the 1st two pics (cockerel or pullet)?












they had fun digging around in all the deep litter....i would rake it all to one side and they would level it out in about an hour.
