Icelandic Chickens

I do believe red and gold runs strong in my flock.

they're not spoiled or anything are they?!

I just started introducing them to the great outdoors, so they're kind of clingy. I'm not complaining ;) Usually I have chicks outside sooner but it's been very busy here.

Thought I would say howdy on this thread. I raise Icelandic Chickens in Northern Wisconsin and just love them. I got rid of everything else and now strictly have an Icelandic only flock. They are amazing birds.

Sorry I haven't posted. My hatch of 10 Icelandic eggs started yesterday and continues today. I think my temp were a little low 99-99.5 so the hatch is somewhat late. So far I have 7 hatched, with another one pipped and two do nothing. Hopefully I have 80 percent. Better than I hoped. Will have some pics tomorrow. Have a couple very dark chicks. One with black feet. Very cool.
