He is the current King of the Free Rangers. He got loose one day last summer and Pffft...wont be caught. He hangs with the BLRW, BO, EE and SS. Plan to lure him into the Icelandic Hen Hotel later this month and give him a chance to pass on those genes. He will be miserable in a pen but its 12x12 and 20 ft tall so hopefully he can tolerate it for a week or two.

Very nice assortment for you in this hatch. Are the eight you have going into lockdown all from your flock? I'll be watching for pics of them this weekend!! And I never get tired of your stories and pics, no matter if they are donkeys, geese, turkeys, RVs...........whatever......keep'em coming!!

It looks like most folks report hatching more male than female chicks yet females are more abundant in photographs of adults. What is done with extra males?
