Icelandic Chickens

its 9:08 Pm in Fredericksburg and I just finished changing out six watering containers for the las time, changing brooder paper and shavings and doing a chick starter night feed.... now for 3 more hours on the night shift at the Coffee House and a few dreams, to wake to the sound of a thousand years of Icelandic heritage singing the songs of ancestral knowings, announcing the start of a new day to celebrate life! May you all enjoy as good of a night and tomorrow as I am!

I only hatched 4 this time, but still a variety. I need to get some updated pictures on the older ones. It seems alot of my little yellow chicks turn out to be a blue multi color.

And if you fly over bring your humans with you and ya'll can stay in my little BnB! its next door to my Coffee House and you will be surounded by Icelandic chickens of all ages, stages and lines!

Yeah, had to change the fabric after some wise guy had to go poop on it.

So, I grabbed a few from the last hatch to photograph..... and what did they do? Poop!
