Interesting. Newfoundlands are also used as LGDs. Maybe the answer is to let him investigate and quash the curiosity so that he can go away

In other news, I got an email saying the carrier arrived at it's destination with 2 eggs in it, apparently travel didn't interrupt their laying. They jumped out and immediately began scratching and foraging. Typical Icelandics, eat first, all else comes later.

I see your point, really I do, I've escorted a couple dogs off the property and explained that it only costs me $.87 to make the problem go away.

Does not look like much of a newfie to me, color is all wrong etc. Either the guy got taken, or he bought a bargain basement pup. Duly noted that only a total "asp" would let kids walk it.

The color is off, and a cross with something else most likely with papers hung, and he bought it too old, he sounds really clueless.

My guess is that the dog was curious then wanted to play. You did right with the bill. I am also with Michelle, SSS.

Interesting on your pricing, that is a figure I gave when someone asked me to price a pair. No way I would have sold them at twice the price to him, he also was clueless, didnt know the first thing about caring for them. Just liked the color. But considering our breed I think that it is correct. It is also enough to deter those less committed. I dont want to see casually interested people with them.

Stay your course Mary, you are right on, getting the pictures was wise, you have told him, and shown the situation, the ball is in your court now, from now on.
