Or, maybe he's just busy admiring chickens (I do it every day)

OR, maybe he is busy posing them and taking pictures.

Long day yesterday after I brought the Fab 3 home, had to go over to Colville, 50 miles each way over snowy roads, we got 4" overal, when I got home the kitten had eaten the mouse cord, again, so I was offline til I could go to town today, just got back, over a 100 emails backed up, plus the ones on a list that I moderate, slowly working through all,

I did get a spare mouse w/cord, and watching the purrkid very closely.

The Fab 3 are doing great, eating very well, I had scrambled eggs this morn, they got one, I think next time it will be more, they made one disappear very quickly !

The middle sized one with the 'suspect' feathering looks fine today, the only difference I see today is simply size, being smaller then the big guy, fact is its almost identical in size to the dark pullet. i know Kelly saw it and said its a rooster to be, but I dont know, sure hope she is too early on it, its comb is just a little morre prominent then the dark pullets. Still havent named them yet, looking for Viking names, am going to go through Njals Saga again to look for some of my favorite characters.

So, back later, the Fab 3 now come arunning when I say Hi Guys and come to the door to see what I got good for them.

Getting 50% of the hens number in eggs every day now.So it looks like lots of eggs going to be eaten daily here.

Life is good, and better with Icelandic Chickens!

Well, NOT good news. I'm typing to 'try' and take my mind off of the pain. It was much worse than he anticipated. Had to take out a nice sized chunk of broken off bone. Meniscus was totally blown, no cartilage left to work with, and I'm bone on bone...says I'll need a total knee replacment next year.
took 1.5 percocets and it is not cutting it. For those who pray. PLEASE DO SO.

Thanks,

Dar

Jake, I am glad your hairy legged chicks made it there. I am sure you are enjoying them but please post some pics.

Mahonri, so sorry about your surgery. Prayers that you will be feeling better and heal quickly
