I'm at work, on break..... just got back from running home and checking.

Maybe I am imagining it, ..... but I think I could hear the one in Egg A. Brittney was still awake, and she said the same thing. She had been sitting at the computer, which is near the incubator, and she said she thought she had heard it a couple hours ago, too.

No cracks yet.

Day 50 has officially begun.

It seems to me that egg B, which is bigger, is not as developed as Egg A. It started wiggling a few days later than A, and the texture of the egg is not as smooth as A. Seems to me that the egg texture has changed..... sorta smoothed out or something. Then again, this could all be my imagination.

This night is going very slow........ 7 more hours before I am off work.

Hmm, bigger slower egg (male?) louder, smaller egg (female?), maybe this Mahonri will get his wish. And then he can hatch an Emu egg next Easter.

Well, yes! I whistle a tune..... sorta. It is more like a noisy blowing sound, followed by a cough.
YES, they do respond! They wiggle and dance on cue! I am training them early.
