Poor thing looks like a miniature ostrich.

Yep. If this little guy didn't convince me to start over, nothing would. He doesn't have any wing feathers on one side and only two or three on the other. He's really active and runs all over the place. I don't know what I am going to do with him though. Luckily I don't have to decide right away.

SOME people wouldn't have to work so much if SOME people didn't have so many chickens.

I got another egg from Lukka today! I am so tempted to start the mother of all staggered hatches but I think it makes more sense to collect for a week then set them. I hate it when my voice of reason talks louder in my head than my "just do it!" voice!

Daron your pic of the lab and the baby emu is one of my favorites ! That dog is a keeper for sure.

Forsaela is a nice looking tutor for the Hamps, I have always liked them, one of the breeds from when I was a kid, back when the world was young. But I usually had RIRs and/or Wyandottes. All good heritage breeds.

I am on the countdown for sure now, 41 days to go.
