Icelandic Chickens

The white AM looks like a hen to me and at 5 months old...I don't see any pointy hackle or saddle feathers.

Kathy,
I started reading this thread a few days ago. I started at the beginning reading about the Icelandic chickens and stayed up till 1 a.m. the last two nights even though I had to go to work the next day. I guess I'm hooked! They're so beautiful and I am coveting them. Then I started from the end today and read backwards to see what has been going on lately. When I came to this egg post of yours, I laughed till I cried! You and Mary and others on this thread are so funny. Now I'm trying to figure out how I can get some of those eggs so I can hatch out some.

Lord have mercy. Mahonri posted pics.

If Jake does I am going to have to go to church.

So every one is saying my big orange SFH is a ROO!?!?!?!

They both look like roos to me, not sure about the AM

JAKE! Post pics!

I have a Church I want Mary to go to, (and not too far from her home too).... LOL!

Dang... as I was looking at my pics again... I saw the feathering on the Blue Icelandic. Guess she'll have to go. of course, If I don't get a Drekki look alike, I won't be breeding her so it won't matter. The only one of the Easter Hatch chicks that looks like Drekki has something wrong with it's right leg. I may have to cull....
