I am using Valbazen.
0.5cc on a piece of bread for each one. I have a couple helpers.
I am about 100 posts behind and working on catching up but had to ask how. How in the world do you manage to get just one piece of bread for each one? Mine are either to terrified to eat or will literally shove each other out of the way to steal another piece of bread. How? I have the Valbazen, I have the bread but...how? Please give detailed instructions so that I can get this chore done!

He splashes the water in the tub so they will come get in. My camera batteries died before I could tape record that. It really was too cute. He giggles and tries to run so they will follow him.

In an Icelandic related note....
Icelandic eggs work great for egg art!

So, so cool! Again, I find myself asking ... how? How did you make these?

Hi Lynn

I would definitely mark that rooster for a pet or the pot. It is much more frayed then any of the ones I have had, in fact my 'worst' one has just 3 feathers out of place on his wings and a couple on his tail. My red black breasted full brother to him is looking great, all normal so far, but he did early on.

Marys present hen Lukka has a LOT of offspring out and about and I dont know of a single fray showing up anywherefrom her. She is still my poster girl of what a hen should look like and be.

39 days to go to moving north, but who's counting?

Life is good, and better with Icelandic Chickens.

Molly notice the Penedesenca in the front? he is more grey and he is the rooster (well from everything I have read lol)
hes are the other three he is protecting from me lol) they are more of a walnut brown. It was much more noticeable at hatch. Now they are all changing some.
My goal is to have about 12 icelandics total and 12 Penedesenca with 6 Ameraucana mixed in for cuteness and eggs
