See, what she said!!!I answered in a PM! Deb is coming by tomorrow and we were synchronizing our watches.![]()
Deb - I have 2 with feathered shanks. One has very heavy, cochin-like feathering. The other one has more light, Marans-like shank feathering.
Mine go into lockdown on Saturday. I'll do a final candling tonight or tomorrow night, but at last look I had 13 that looked good. Good luck!I have a pip ! ! !I have an Isbar pip ! ! !![]()

Thanks Mary. I just hadn't seen it mentioned in my many pages of reading. One of the chicks I hatched from your eggs is the only one I have without a crest. Both chicks were pullets and they look pretty identical otherwise.Deb, I've had a few with leg feathering, or more like leg "stubbing". None with feathers on their feet or many that go beyond a few down the outside of the leg. I don't chose for or against it.....just figure it is something that is deep in the treasure chest that occassionally pops up.
I assume you mean an icelandic? And yes, that looks like a boy.
