Icelandic Chickens

Hmmm, it might just be me, but if something had collapsed from being driven over one time, I'd say that's a pretty fine specimen of garbage there. Sorry you're having to deal with this

I've run across people like your neighbors, and they are a real pain to deal with. The claims some people make are just outrageous.

Guess what I came home with the other day? I'm really hoping for a girl here! This is Icelandic #3 for me, and it looks like he/she already has a crest going just above the comb. There's a large vein visible on one of the legs that I'm concerned about, though. I'll try and get a picture of it, though you can barely see it here in the leg that is extended beneath my hand.

Had to take the picture with my phone camera, since that's all I had on hand. Please excuse the messy garage in the background.

Just a quick update for all of you that have been asking me about the importation process in the forum and in private messages. I have sent in an import application and am waiting to hear back from the USDA. I will keep you updated on the progress.

Fingers crossed!

That is a Frans Hals Daylily. I got it from a friend two years ago and I love the bright two-tone flowers....I'd have to say it's in my top ten favorites of my current daylilies. Here are a couple more on that list.............

Your Flowers are AMAZING... Wish I could smell them....
