Sometimes our attitudes get us in trouble............

I hope the rest all settle in okay and I know you'll be hatching more so here's to getting alot more crested blues like the one you lost!

Jim posted a Kella pic of the week!!

I am hatching a lot. These are just the few I grabbed. Did you notice that Kella lays torpedo eggs? Her eggs are so long, thin, and pointed on both ends.

I never trap nested any of mine to find out whose is whose but I knew someone in that pen had a longer egg.....I can tell Anna's and Asta's eggs apart because Anna's is longer than Asta's but it is not pointed at both ends! I knew Elska's egg this spring because she was the only one that started laying when she did....everyone else had been laying for a couple months.

I guess I can tell with only 2 in hens in each pen.

The eggs out of Bjarthur's pen are quite a bit smaller than out of Dreki's pen.
