I know they don't separate poop from pee and some can look watery, but most are supposed to look firm with a white tip right?

I have a 10 week old roo of unknown heritage who has been healthy. He just got two new girlfriends from a science lab at a university they were "sworn" to be healthy and not in need of quarantine.....

Is my roo sick or am I overreacting to yucky poo?

take a couple pics (once a day they will have a brownish runny "caramel" poo and this is normal) and post...also any symptoms (if any) and describe the environmental conditions and what you are feeding him (incl treats)

I am grateful to you for answering, but have needed husband to be home to post pics. - I don't know how to get stills off of our digital camcorder onto the computer - my camera is standard film....

He doesn't show any signs of being ill, no lethargy, color change in wattles etc.... He is unknown breed, white with yellow legs and one or two brown spots in his feathers.

Food: medicated feed, food scraps - celery, grapes, watermelon, biscuits, a small amount of tuna was offered but he didn't eat it. They had some scratch two weeks ago but I read here not to give it to them in hot weather so I stopped it.

I completely emptied and scrubbed out the coop and replaced all the bedding with fresh pine chips. Then I raked and hayed the run. I sanitized the feeders and the waterers. Is there anything else I can do? Am I feeding them too many fruits?

Hopefully dh will help me post pics later today..... Thank you!

Here is the chicken (s) they have no other symptoms so I am figuring they must be OK. It seems to be mostly the white one with the problem. Getting a pic of the poo has been nigh on impossible and makes my dh laugh with hysteria!
