ID for little ones

I would love to buy those but don't you think the chickens will peck at those and accidently harm others? Just wondering!

ok, I may be asking a dumb question, but those leg bands look like child size rubber bands to me. If you want to use them temporarly couldn't you just use larger than the leg rubber bands, or coated elastic hair bands? Just curious...
