ID help - better PICs this time

How old are they? My 12wk minorca pullets still have small combs, but my minorca cockerel from my last batch of chicks (he got mean quickly and went to rooster heaven after repeatedly attacking my 2yo niece) developed his comb very quickly. He was obviously a male by 12 weeks, but yours still has a pullet-looking body.

I think they're about 14-15 weeks. This bird is not aggressive, but one of the more assertive birds. The leghorn rooster (obviously a rooster) pays very little attention to me and seems to be very mellow. And not as assertive as the minorca.

Here's my minorca cockerel at 12 weeks:

And here he is at 15 weeks:

Yours is looking pretty girly to me, if she's 14-15 weeks old.

Hmmmm.......the wattles on your guy definitely looks much more pronounced than my - pullet? I'm hoping so. I've had my share of a raging rooster - had to go into the barnyard with a potato fork (and then my husband sent him to rooster heaven).

We'll know within another month or two!
Beautiful birds, by the way.

I'm sorry to take this thread off subject...

How does Sevin cause them to return worse? I recently discovered some lice/mites on some of my birds and dusted them all last night.

The comb on yours looks pretty girly to me too. It's shaped different than my roo's comb. Her comb will be quite large when it's finished growing. I've got a 6 month old minorca or black andalusian pullet whose comb is already as big as most cockerels' combs I've ever seen.

very cute in the bathroom!
The wattles and comb on yours do look bigger/more pronounced. Seems like the body's rounder and squatter on my bird too.
